BlackBerry enters the Wi-Fi game
The BlackBerry finally gets into the Wi-Fi game with the 8820, the first dual-mode BlackBerry device with Wi-Fi wireless LAN connectivity as well as wide area EDGE/GPRS/GSM access. The addition of 802.11a/b/g connectivity lets BlackBerry users connect to the Internet faster wherever a Wi-Fi connection exists — whether it's a home network, enterprise wireless area or wireless hot spot at a coffee shop.
