Despite unveiling prices for its upcoming Windows Azure cloud platform that appear merely on par with incumbent rivals such as Amazon, Microsoft Corp. says Azure will gain ground with Web developers by offering more and better features for the money.

They want to have it both ways: Microsoft and Google
So you've most probably heard last week of Google's announcement for an operating system: Google Chrome. Of course, Microsoft has also "declared war" on Google Search, per its evolution of Windows Live to Bing.

Windows 7's battle will be uphill
Businesses aren't exactly knocking down Microsoft's door to get Windows 7 installed. According to a survey commissioned by ScriptLogic, which makes software tools for Windows, about six in 10 companies have no plans to deploy Windows 7.
