untidy."

John Galsworthy

Dear Vorticians,

This week, in the VORTEX Blog, I've covered the topics below. I
hope you'll read them and share your thoughts.

Just what exactly is utility computing?, 06/16/05

For a concept that gets so much discussion, people don't seem
very certain about what it is or who's using it. And it isn't

and potential customers may be from two different planets when it
comes to utility computing. What is utility computing? (And can

BellSouth moves forward with WiMAX service, 06/16/05

Of mistakes and price wars, 06/14/05

In the initial entry in the VORTEX Blog, read the insights of
other Vorticians on a hoped-for price war in high-speed access,
and find out how such a fight would help us even beyond our
wallets.

ABOUT VORTEX DIGEST
*********************************************************

VORTEX Digest is a weekly summary of the VORTEX Blogs written by
Executive Producer John Gallant and offers an ongoing dialogue
on matters raised at The VORTEX Conference, and within the VORTEX
Community.

VORTEX is an exclusive, invitation-only event for senior
executives that brings together all the key elements: leadership,
thought, funding, and regulatory expertise, to shape the future
of the network business and the technologies that drive it.
VORTEX shakes off the hype and helps you understand where you can
win new customers, and find new revenue in a time of dramatic and
seemingly unpredictable change.
