It's no secret that the U.S. Navy is spending billions of dollars on it's Next Generation Enterprise Network. Loren Thompson at forbes.com is concerned the new network is going to have more security issues than the Navy's current one, for a few reasons. Regardless of whether you agree with his logic, this point in the article is what really grabbed my attention: The Navy is spending billions of dollars on its network! When it already has one! Does that sound like a good idea to you?
