Phishing researchers will congregate at Carnegie Mellon University Oct. 4-5 to debate whether users ever will get a clue about the dangers of phishing, among other issues pertaining to online crime.

GOOGLE APPLAUDS ISO VOTE, VOICES OOXML CONCERNS
Google, which has been less vocal than some on the furor surrounding the standards process for Microsoft's Office Open XML, came out Friday in support of the ISO's decision to reject the specification.
