Users of the Facebook social-networking site are too gullible in giving up personal information, which could make them the targets of identity theft, according to Sophos research.

Unusual pump-and-dump spam run continues
More spam made its way to inboxes Monday touting a small Florida company first hit by a massive pump-and-dump spam scam last week. The company has denied any responsibility for the junk mail that drove up its stock price, and said it will look at stockholder data in the hope that it can uncover who was behind the scheme.

Nokia is offering to replace 46 million batteries manufactured by another company for use in its mobile phones because of a risk of overheating, Nokia said on Tuesday.

Storage trade group gets green makeover
The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) has suddenly sprouted green leaves with a task force, working party, and tutorial all directed to making storage more environmentally friendly. It recommends storing less data on fewer disks and archiving to tape.

The unauthorized game only ran on Macs when it was released in 1998, it now has updated artwork and sounds and is ready to go on Mac, Windows and Linux machines.
