The NAS boxes, which offer high-speed processors with data transfer rates of up to 38 MB/sec., have an estimated street price of $2,499. Weird Al is your new IT guy It's hard to make this up. Really. Left Brain Games announced a new interactive game for PCs that features "Weird Al" Yankovic as the star of Virus Alert 3D, in which IT employee Weird Al takes on viruses at Companytechco Inc., LLC. Can the Helio Ocean make a dent in the enterprise? Helio announced that its Ocean device is now available. The $295 Ocean is a dual-slider cell phone that includes a numeric keypad and separate QWERTY keyboard. Additional features include instant messaging (including presence-enabled contact lists), text messaging, photo messaging and e-mails, an HTML browser, over-the-air music downloads, video on demand, and GPS-enabled Google Maps. New Intel processors = boatloads of new PCs Whenever Intel launches a new set of processors, we see a bevy of product announcement from notebook and PC manufacturers. Today is no different, as Intel announced faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors, as well as its latest Centrino processor technology for notebooks.
