Analysts squash rumors of 150k IBM layoffs
A report by Robert Cringely on the PBS Web site says IBM is planning to lay off 150,000 U.S. workers by the end of this calendar year, but analysts who cover IBM doubt the report is accurate.

But after today, that's no longer a problem because PianoDisc this week introduced its iPod docking piano 'iQ' which it says though is patented technology will let almost any piano play itself according to the melody of the iPod. According to the company the docking device works with most pianos and retrofits them to respond to the melody of almost any digital device, with special attention to Apple hardware.
