Lucent reported a decline in profit for its third fiscal
quarter, although strong sales of 3G mobile network equipment
helped push revenue up 7%, the company announced Tuesday.

HP Tuesday said it hopes to save $1.9 billion a year through a
massive reorganization in which it will cut 14,500 jobs, or

the Customer Solutions Group which sold to enterprise customers.
