iPhone activations on Verizon grew 26% year over year

Verizon today reported their financial results from their third quarter and posted 7.6 million in cumulative smartphone activations. Of that figure, 3.9 million of those activations were from the iPhone. All told, nearly 55% of all of Verizon's third quarter smartphone activations were on account of the iPhone.
