What Is Mobile Broadband Internet?
The term "mobile broadband" refers to high-speed wireless Internet connections and services designed to be used from arbitrary locations. Many different mobile broadband technologies exist, including LTE.

What About WiMAX (vs. LTE)?
One mobile broadband technology similar to LTE is called WiMAX. You probably won't be seeing WiMAX support on an iPhone any time soon, although its possible some the data you download from the Web travels over WiMAX links.

How Does Wi-Fi Use Affect Computer Battery Life?
LTE isn't the only wireless network that consumes a significant amount of battery power. Wi-Fi also requires power to operate the radios used to send and receive data. How exactly does your usage of Wi-Fi affect a computer's power consumption, specifically the life of battery-operated devices?
