U.S. defense contractor Lockheed Martin was the victim of an intensive network attack, but over the weekend Lockheed reported they were successful in preventing any serious compromise of data. While hostile parties probably put a lot more effort into attacking large corporations, there are plenty of folks out there who want to steal your network's resources too.
