From Bradley Mitchell, your Guide to Computer Networking
Internet Service Providers sometimes place limits on the amount of data customers can send and/or receive over their Internet connections. These are sometimes called bandwidth caps. It's amazing how much network traffic a person can generate these days almost without realizing it. Are you aware of your network footprint?

What Is a Bandwidth Cap?
Does your provider have you on a monthly bandwidth quota? Is your broadband capped to a limited data rate? If so, you are not alone.

Introducing Cisco Valet
Is this is beginning of the end of "Linksys" routers? Umm... not for at least 7 more years, I figure. Here's why.

Do Network Bandwidth Monitors Compromise Your Privacy?

Beware of File Size Limits on Emails
This week, Google rolled out support for unlimited size file transfers in iGoogle and Orkut chat. This expands on the same file transfer capability already available in Google Talk. File sharing in Gmail is still limited to messages of a certain size, unfortunately. (Although that may help keep your bandwidth usage lower, actually.)
