FEATURE - Change is Part of the Landscape

Last week you were introduced to the new look and name for FreeTechMail, TechNewsletters.com. It was an easy transition for everyone - except our webmaster.
The changes didn't sit well with him. Especially, because they involved re-working tasks he had successfully completed in the past.

It is amazing to think that anyone who is dedicated their career to the IT industry would have a hard time adjusting to change. Especially, when everywhere you look things are being reworked, updated and bigger and better versions are being released. All you need to do is scan through sample newsletters recently added to TechNewsletters.com and you will see what I mean. For example:

Office 2003 Service Pack 2 Adds Anti-Phishing Feature to Outlook
Windows IT Pro, October 1, 2005
"SP2 consolidates more than three dozen hotfixes released since SP1 came out more than a year ago." Rest of article in sample newsletter...

Computerworld IT Management Update, September 29, 2005
"We have a pretty good sense that next-generation IT work, workers and work processes will be a very different animal than the function-by-function, piece-by-piece synchronized swimming that has characterized the previous and current generations of technology management." Rest of article in sample newsletter..
