Microsoft closes Sybari deal, will run company as subsidiary,
06/21/05
Microsoft on Tuesday closed its acquisition of Sybari Software
and said the anti-virus and anti-spam vendor would remain a
wholly owned subsidiary but that Microsoft would discontinue
Sybari's line of Unix and Linux products.

IBM lands $1.6 billion services contract with NiSource, 06/21/05
Energy supplier NiSource said Tuesday it has signed a 10-year
agreement with IBM to outsource IT support functions, a deal IBM
estimated will be worth $1.6 billion in service fees over the
life of the contract.

Virtualization specialist SWsoft gets cash infusion, 06/16/05
Software firm SWsoft, which competes with VMware and Microsoft
in the x86 server virtualization market, this week announced it
has closed on $12.4 million in new funding, the first cash
infusion from outside the company.
