The corporate appetite for wireless bandwidth is seemingly insatiable.

Today's 802.11n Wi-Fi standard, offering 300Mbps to 450Mbps maximum throughput, has matured and its generous capacity is already being tested in some organizations and soon will be in others. More users, more devices per user, BYOD, big apps, and cellular offload are all fueling the need for faster wireless connections. Consequently, the IEEE developed a new 1Gbps WLAN standard, called 802.11ac. This fifth-generation WLAN is now nearing standardization, and products running at 1Gbps speeds and beyond are emerging to serve enterprise mission-critical applications. This session will outline key differences in the 802.11ac and 802.11n standards, explain why Multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) is important, and the benefits of spatial streams.

At this webinar, executives will learn:

Featured Speakers:
Chris Hinsz, Product Line Manager, Motorola Solutions

Andre Kindness, Principal Analyst serving Infrastructure & Operations Professionals
  • What are 802.11ac's benefits in addition to its higher speeds
  • How a company integrates this new network option with its current wireless LANs
  • Expected 802.11ac product availability
  • When should companies consider moving from their current networks to 802.11ac?

Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one nowadays.
