From Bradley Mitchell, your Guide to Computer Networking
A Web firm based in Mexico recently deployed Wi-Fi hotspots in some city parks. So what, you ask? The unique idea behind Terra's Poo Wi-Fi is that you can earn free minutes in exchange for depositing waste. While any kind of waste might do, these hotspots are targeting one kind of "-do" in particular.

Free Wi-Fi Hotspot Locators
I wasn't able to find any Poo Wi-Fi hotspots through these locator sites. The popular online databases are so large, it's hard to believe these wouldn't be listed. I may just have been using the wrong search parameters. Of course, they don't have the option (yet) to search by smell, which would be interesting to say the least.

Introduction to Wi-Fi Wireless Antennas
Most people use whatever built-in antennas come with their Wi-Fi gear and never give it a second thought. Wi-Fi enthusiasts, though, are always on the lookout for aftermarket upgrades to squeeze out extra performance from their wireless network equipment.

MIMO - Multiple-In Multiple-Out Technology
One of the key technologies behind newer generations of Wi-Fi networking is MIMO. Without MIMO, 802.11n would hardly be any different than 802.11g.
