iPhone gets VoIP tryout, 09/28/07: In a demonstration at this year’s DEMOfall07 convention, British VoIP provider Truphone showed conventioneers how to use the iPhone’s built-in WiFi capability to make calls over Truphone’s VoIP network.

Software lets Skype customers record conversations, 09/26/07: A new program developed by a Russian software company allows Skype users to record their phone conversations and save them on their computer as digital multimedia files.
