Shell selects AT&T to provide global unified communications solution
Shell is deploying an enterprise-wide unified communications service to support Shell's 150,000 users in more than 90 countries. The UC service will be provided by AT&T. Shell will invest $90 million over three years, and the initiative is part of a $1.6 billion global multiyear strategic plan the two companies signed in 2008 for AT&T to manage a significant part of Shell's IT infrastructure and telecommunications services.
