Apply here: Click Here for More Information Nokia impresses with latest Internet Tablet Nokia's N800 Internet Tablet is a very small, thin and portable handheld device with a large color touchscreen (800 by 480 pixels) and the ability to perform Web browsing, play multimedia (music, photos and videos), read e-mails and access other applications (games, calculator, etc.). (9:08) * LATEST COOL TOOL BLOGS: Writer's strike is boon for me Considering that we're about a month away from not having any new TV shows to watch because of the Writer's Guild strike, the prediction from In-Stat that "more than 16 million U.S. TV households may be using their broadband service more than they use their TV sets" within the next three years doesn't seem so far-fetched. In fact, the prediction may come true sooner than they're predicting. I'm thinking label printers aren't on Santa's list… It's the time of the year for holiday gift-giving and wish lists and all sorts of holiday gift guides (don't worry, ours comes out on Monday, Nov. 19). Most of these lists will include things like iPods, iPhones, gaming consoles, HDTVs, stereo systems, etc. But what if you just make or sell office supply devices like label printers? Reason #547 to loathe Microsoft . . . Probably because I'm a glutton for punishment, I decide to try and download Microsoft's new Zune music software (new Zune devices available tomorrow), mainly to see how the software handles the downloading and browsing of podcasts (who knows, maybe Zune users would want to listen to a few Network World podcasts on their device). Video rentals via iTunes coming soon? A guy who's upgrading his iTunes application looks at some of the code differences between the updates and finds some keywords regarding the possibility of video rentals and on-demand video.
