EMC, Hitachi, set to unveil data protection, storage wares, 10/15/07: At Storage Networking World this week in Dallas, vendors are unveiling a number of products that make it easier for users to manage and protect their storage environments.

EMC tackles inappropriate access to its own data, 10/16/07: EMC is one of the biggest names in the world of managing and storing information, but until just a few months ago the company didn’t have a good system for governing employee access rights to unstructured data.

Hitachi to cram 4TB on desktop hard drives by 2009, 10/15/07: Hitachi Global Storage Technologies plans to announce Monday it has developed technology that will quadruple the storage capacity of desktop hard drives within the next two years.
