I upgraded my Mac to Snow Leopard this weekend. The System Preferences section formerly called "Internet & Network" in Mac OS X is now called "Internet & Wireless." Guess this wireless thing is for real, eh?

If connected to your computer properly, digital (PCS) cell phones can function as a computer modem. Using your cell phone as a modem can get you portable Internet connectivity when all other options like WiFi hotspots fail. However, a cell phone modem generally performs worse than alternative forms of Internet acesss.
