Digium Now Offers Cloud-based SIP Trunks
Two announcements in the news today from Digium: the company has expanded its cloud offering to include IP trunks and, in separate news, announced the release of Asterisk 13 with hundreds of new features.Digium SIP Trunking, now offered as part of the latest Digium Cloud Services (DCS), provides VoIP connectivity for Switchvox, Digium’s Unified Communications (UC) system. Digium SIP Trunking is available in two pricing plans. The channelized plan offers unlimited usage at a flat rate. A metered plan is also available for customers that need more flexibility. Digium SIP Trunking also provides unlimited free calls between DCS customers.
