	BridgeSTOR dedupes, compresses Microsoft Data Protection Manager Start-up BridgeSTOR recently introduced an appliance that deduplicates and compresses Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager data. The Application Optimized Storage (AOS) appliance can shrink DPM data by as much as 90% using data reduction techniques called Virtual Storage - Advanced Data Reduction (VS-ADR), a technique that John Matze, CEO of BridgeSTOR developed while working at HiFN.
