- Droid X Suffers Death Grip Says Apple

Apple has acknowledged that the iPhone 4 has a serious problem when you hold the device in a certain way, which just so happens to be the most common way a right handed person holds a phone, with their left hand at the base of the unit. For now, the fix is free bumpers for everyone which mitigates the problem. Not content to stop there though, Apple is claiming other phones have the same issue, and going to great lengths to document it.

Go ahead and pick the iPhone's digital lock. The U.S. Copyright Office says that's okay. In a surprise decision, the Copyright Office granted the Electronic Frontier Foundations' request for three exemptions from the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) anticircumvention provisions.

Even though Windows Phone 7 is heavily anticipated this fall, mainly as Microsoft's last chance to turn its mobile device effort around, it isn't the only major release in the pipeline. Research in Motion's Blackberry platform is getting a pretty big update with version 6 and now there are a number of screenshots available as well as information about the Blackberry 6 Desktop software.
