With the request for EXTENSION OF TIME TO SUBMIT THE REGULARISATION PLAN approved today, the counter should move up tomorrow (thur). Its highest intra day high this year was RM2.08 and its highest close this year was RM1.99 done on 6th Jan 2010; whilst it lowesest close was 2 days ago 12th Apr 2010 when it close at RM0.65 on very low volume 95500shares traded. HO HUP CONSTRUCTION COMPANY BERHAD ("Ho Hup" or "The Company") - EXTENSION OF TIME TO SUBMIT THE REGULARISATION PLAN We act for and on behalf of Ho Hup. The Board of Ho Hup wishes to inform that after due consideration of all facts and circumstances of the matter, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") has granted Ho Hup an extension of time of four (4) months, i.e. from 4 April 2010 to 4 August 2010 to submit the Companys revised regularisation plan to Bursa Securities for approval. The extension of time granted to Ho Hup is without prejudice to Bursa Securities right to proceed to suspend the trading of the securities of the Company and to commence de-listing procedures against Ho Hup in the event:- (1) Ho Hup fails to submit the Companys regularisation plan to the Approving Authorities for approval on or before 4 August 2010; (2) Ho Hup fails to obtain the approval from any of the Approving Authorities necessary for the implementation of the Companys regularisation plan and does not appeal to the Approving Authorities within the timeframe (or extended timeframe, as the case may be) prescribed to lodge an appeal; (3) Ho Hup does not succeed in the Companys appeal against the decision of the Approving Authorities; or (4) Ho Hup fails to implement the Companys regularisation plan within the timeframe or extended timeframes stipulated by the Approving Authorities Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in items (1) to (4) above, a suspension shall be imposed on the trading of the listed securities of Ho Hup upon the expiry of 5 market days from the date Ho Hup is notified by Bursa Securities or such other date as may be specified by Bursa Securities and the de-listing procedures shall be commenced against the Company. This announcement is dated 14 April 2010.
