A report surfaced today from the Silicon Alley Insider that Microsoft has told employees it will no longer pay for iPhones, BlackBerries, the Palm Pre, or any other non-Windows mobile device submitted on expense reports. Windows 7 upgrade programs will start soon, vary by vendor Some PC vendors and sellers will begin a coupon program on June 26 to entitle people who buy premium versions of Microsoft Windows Vista to upgrade to the new Windows 7 operating system when it arrives later this year, but the upgrade offers may not be free. Offers will vary by vendor and retailer. Google plots to launch microblogging search tool In its effort to index the world -- or at least cyberspace -- Google is rumored to be working on a microblogging search engine. Although live search is not Google's forte, that isn't stopping it from creating a MicroBlogSearch tool.
