Microsoft, Intel to back Cisco's "Unified Computing" launch Contrary to previous reports, Cisco's data center vision does not seem to be a largely solo effort.

BMC's role in Cisco's Unified Computing System launch BMC could consider itself lucky to be selected by Cisco to exclusively provide management technology for Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS) launch, but the veteran software maker thinks more than luck is at work here.
