The company I work with runs several types of business software applications which are mostly applications that the clients use to manage their websites. With all of the upgrades and patches we’ve got going on within the network I’m really looking forward to the implementation of IT automation. The software upgrades always throw a lot of new bugs into the system and using our guys to sort them out seriously drains our resources.

I’m hoping that we can find some new automation solutions that will help us improve application availability for every program we run. It’ll also be nice to dedicate manpower to making much more solid upgrades to the software rather than having something thrown out onto the network and then spend time patching it all up.
