FCC provides more information to some lobbyists, 10/04/07: The FCC has routinely let some telecom lobbyists know in advance when votes important to them will happen, but has not done the same for some consumer and public-interest groups, according to a report by a government auditor.

BT teams with Fon for Wi-Fi sharing, 10/04/07: BT is teaming up with Wi-Fi sharing service Fon, to give all its customers the option of joining the Fon shared Wi-Fi service.

AT&T signs network management deal with IBM, 10/03/07: AT&T announced yesterday that it signed an agreement with IBM to serve as the company’s provider of outsourced telecommunications and network management services -- an assignment previously handled by IBM’s own services division.

Stick with Riverbed for accelerating applications. They are the best of breed solution out there. I work for a Cisco partner that is also partnered with Riverbed, because they have the best WAN optimizing technology. I have a lot of comparison data on all the competitors if anyone is interested. Forrester, Gartner, etc...
